Departing 3 hours before sunset, we sail around the bay looking for dolphins, turtles, rays, and of course whales (when in season). Once the sun has set across the stunningly beautiful Bay of Banderas we will drop the sail and motor back into port just before dark.

The Hooligan is a classic French built Beneteau sailboat that is designed for comfort, class and an exceptional sailing ability. Piloted by the Capitán and his crew (his trusty sailing dog), you will experience a sailing adventure that is unlike any other. You can even take the helm and steer the boat for the ultimate rush of being on the water!

Up Close and Personal with Amazing Wildlife and Stunning Coastal Views

There really isn’t a bad time to see whales and dolphins swimming right next to you, but we think that one of the best times to see these amazing sea animals breaching out of the water is right as the sun is setting. Keep your eyes peeled and be ready to catch the most amazing memories splashing out in front of you while sailing aboard the Hooligan. Of course the whales are seasonal, but all of the other amazing experiences are here all year around.

What Sailing Aboard The Hooligan is like

First things first, safety is our top priority. You will be crewed by a seasoned sailor (and a friendly German Shepherd if you opt in for the pet-friendly experience). The Hooligan is a spacious and very comfortable sailboat that is equipped with safety netting around the entire deck, a swim deck at the stern of the boat to easily climb aboard, and lots of room to enjoy your sail. Down below there is a large galley, two staterooms and two private heads for a complete and very comfortable experience.

We will never mix and match you up on a tour with other customers that you don’t know, and this is because we want to provide you with the most intimate and exclusive service. We highly encourage you to shop around and find any other tour operator who will provide you with a private sailboat charter for less than Hooligan Adventures, and if you can, we will gladly match or beat their rate!
